The Traffic/Project Coordinator is responsible for project flow and acts as a liaison between the marketing department and other college departments. This person will assist in coordinating all project schedules and ensure on-time delivery of all assigned projects.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate project schedules and design resources to ensure on-time delivery of all assigned projects. 
  • Develop and manage project schedules. 
  • Communicate project schedules and status updates to team members and clients. 
  • Review all completed projects to ensure all included information is accurate and all project requirements were met. 
  • Actively participate in team meetings and department initiatives. 
  • Prepare job production estimates, budgets, and purchase orders. 
  • Serve a key customer service liaison between marketing department and other college departments.

Education and Experience Required:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing (preferred), advertising or a related subject, or the equivalent work experience. 
  • One or more years of digital advertising/online media work. 
  • Traffic or project management (3+ years) experience within an advertising agency, graphic design firm, internal corporate or pre-press department preferred. 
  • Experience working with a formal project management system to track projects and coordinate resources a plus. 
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and a working knowledge of Basecamp and HubSpot. 
  • Established technical knowledge of various media such as print, outdoor, digital media, etc. 
  • Established knowledge of website basics (standard web terms, industry ad standards). 
  • Established knowledge of campaign management, optimizations and ad trafficking. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others. 
  • Strong time and project management skills. 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and proven ability to multi-task. 
  • Outstanding customer service skills and philosophy in order to maintain and enhance perception of the marketing department. 
  • Ability to work with colleagues across the College and establish and foster relationships that encourage a collaborative work environment to reach shared goals. 
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, manage competing priorities, coordinate diverse projects and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Demonstrated appreciation for private liberal arts education.
