This position will work closely with the Category Marketing Manager and the Seasonal Marketing team to align on Marketing priorities, support plans, and key consumer messages that lead to development of Category Marketing briefs. This person will also work with other Brand Management teams, along with cross-functional teams (including Trend & Design and Merchandising) to execute Private Brand initiatives.
To accomplish this, the Marketing Category Senior Specialist must have working knowledge of brand management principles, consumer insights, business analysis and business cases, and how to execute projects in the Lowe’s work environment.
The Marketing Category Senior Specialist will collaborate directly with Marketing (seasonal team), Private Brands, Merchandising, and key strategic vendors in order to build alignment on brand and category marketing priorities that build Lowe’s business.
This position will have a significant impact on the assigned brands, categories and initiatives. Sales for the assigned brands and categories will be more than $1B. The role helps build balanced marketing and messaging strategies and initiatives that drive comp sales and enhanced margin opportunities for Lowe’s.
