The purpose of the Sales & Operations Communications Senior Specialist position is to develop, consult, deliver and continuously improve the effectiveness of communications – including content and delivery processes – to Lowe’s stores and applicable stakeholders across the enterprise (e.g Field leadership, Contact Center agent network, and Distribution Centers). The primary focus of this position is to support and serve as a communications subject matter expert for our various business partners across the company. This calls for writing expertise, executive messaging support and extensive communications development, project management, planning and execution.
The Sales & Operations Communications team uses vehicles such as Lowes’ intranet, internal email, an internal task management system, a weekly internal online Sales & Operations planner, internal television broadcasts and video, and store/field events to develop and distribute information regarding Corporate and Store Operations objectives, initiatives, major events, and other relevant news.
The Sales & Operations Communications team’s mission is to provide store, field and other employees with relevant, timely and accurate information that promotes engagement in company initiatives, helps employees be successful in their roles, and drives Omni-channel service and sales execution. Working under the Operations Supportumbrella, this is done by:
- Consulting and collaborating, strategically and tactically, with business and communication partners across the enterprise
- Planning and developing intentional, audience-driven communication strategies
- Delivering simple, effective and highly informative messages through the most impactful communication vehicles
