Public Relations Manager

PulteGroup’s Corporate Communications department is seeking a Public Relations Manager to help advance our external communications and media relations program. We are looking for a talented individual who knows how to earn media coverage in today’s changing communications landscape and can help advance PulteGroup’s external communications activities to the next level of success. The position will be based at our corporate office in Atlanta.


  • Create positive awareness of PulteGroup through the generation of earned media coverage.
  • Identification, development and pitching of stories to national and local media.
  • Leverage relevant social media platforms to support PR activities.
  • Support overall external communications efforts for the company.
  • Assist with other corporate communications projects as needed, including compiling media lists and editorial calendars, press release development in support of local operations, and other applicable activities.


  • BA/BS in journalism, communications, public relations or related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of PR agency or applicable corporate public relations experience required.


  • Knowledge of public relations strategies and processes, and how best to apply.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in press release development and broader writing skills.
  • Measurable success in story development, pitching and resulting earned media coverage.
  • A confident self-starter who will develop and advance projects, while working as part of integrated corporate communications team.
  • Multi-tasker who can work across all levels of an organization from supporting senior leadership to assisting front-line operations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel, as needed, within the U.S.
  • Must possess a can-do attitude and a willingness to get the job done.
