Job Description:

The position promotes designated campuses, internally and externally, through media contacts, programs and functions designated to maintain a positive image of the College campus. In addition, (1) develops and executes communications plans in coordination with District Public Relations and the office of the Campus President; (2) plans overall media and community relations strategy for assigned campus; (3) serves as campus-based lead in the management of press and community outreach, media events, media calls, social media, and press material development; and (4) may occasionally serve as District spokesperson as determined by the Executive Director of Marketing and Public Relations.

Required Qualifications:

The position requires at least a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of prior-related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Campaign development experience, strong writing and editing skills, extensive media relations and social media experience in addition to well-developed project management skills.
