Position Details

Public Relations Coordinator
South Florida
Fort Lauderdale, FL

Public Relations Coordinator provides support in the planning and implementation of communication programs that create a positive image of Broward Health and its facilities.

This position will be responsible for brainstorming, creating, and transforming ideas into communication tactics, including but not limited to articles, media pitches, publications, blogs, social media posts, and other supportive materials. Further, this position will write and edit copy for a variety of marketing needs, such as print ads, collateral, radio spots, signage, internet/web content, press releases, video scripts, leadership talking points, presentations and more. Another component of the job will be to coordinate media outreach.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, advertising or related field; 3-5 years of experience is required. A writing portfolio and samples will be requested as a part of the interview process.
