Role:

The role of the Media Manager/AE – PPC, PLA, Display & Social is responsible for bringing a solid grasp of media planning, including auditing campaign performance for growth opportunities, traffic co-ordination, digital publishers, presentations and budget management. S/he will ensure paid media campaigns are executed and managed to high degree of client satisfaction, while supporting growth of paid media capabilities, providing support of junior staff, and continually testing and providing case study worthy quality of work.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and optimize holistic paid media ecommerce program across SEM (including PLA), Display, Native, and/or Paid Social channels with fluid budget and aggressive back end goals
  • Crafts strategy for paid media channels in partnership with media and account leads
  • Owns performance of large scale Google and Bing SEM and PLA campaigns
  • Understands nuances between various display and programmatic partners, can determine optimal partner/strategy for client goals, and negotiate rates
  • Shares responsibility reporting with Associate Media Manager and helps drive forward-thinking strategy
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of key client information including general business strategy, industry issues, products and services offered, key customers and competitors in the marketplace
  • Understanding of social content strategy and ability to provide recommendations to ensure content resonates with target audiences
  • Ability to manage junior staff members
  • Develop knowledge share and POVs across the network

Qualifications:

  • 2 -4 years’ experience with digital marketing; preference for ecommerce or retail experience
  • Knowledge of 3rd party tracking and serving technology (DoubleClick, Marin, Kenshoo, Sizmek, Ignition One)
  • Experience managing large lead generation or direct-response SEM campaigns
  • Display management experience, from strategic proposal creation to trafficking ads through ad servers
  • Comfortable recommending strategic paid social campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Instagram
  • Proficient in analyzing complex issues and developing relevant and actionable plans, programs, tests, and recommendations
  • Excel guru
  • Motivated self-starter who is excited to grow an aggressively expanding paid media practice
