Benesch is looking to hire an experienced Marketing Manager to oversee marketing functions and develop marketing strategy for project pursuits within our South East region. This position is based out of our Charlotte, NC office.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Manages and mentors regional marketing team, including staff development and application of department resources 
  • Accountable for quality control of all regional marketing activities, including proposals, presentations, prequalifications, announcements, advertisements and all other marketing materials 
  • Accountable for ensuring all regional proposals and presentations contain strategic messaging, are of high written and graphic quality and are consistent with the Benesch brand 
  • Monitors marketing budgets for individual proposal and presentation efforts 
  • Leads overall development and implementation of marketing strategy for the region 
  • Supervises the development of all regional marketing materials 
  • Develops strategy for project-specific capture plans, working closely with the Regional Manager and Division Manager 
  • Communicates corporate marketing strategies with the regional marketing team 
  • Accountable for the entry and maintenance of accurate marketing data in Deltek Vision 
  • Accountable for accurate data presented within the regional New Business Report 
  • Attends division business development meetings for the region 
  • Conduct research, as directed by the Regional Manager, on clients, markets or specific projects 
  • Reports to the Marketing Director and interfaces with other Marketing Managers, to share marketing knowledge and resources as needed 
  • Protects the Benesch brand by ensuring company image and message is presented professionally and consistently across the region

Required Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, or related area required 
  • 6-10 years’ professional services marketing experience in the A/E/C industry preferred, local market knowledge strongly preferred 
  • Strong graphic capabilities and proven proficiency working with Adobe programs especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop 
  • Experience with CRM tools, Deltek Vision strongly preferred 
  • Advanced strategy development, leadership, and management skills 
  • Advanced writing, editing, and presentation skills 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet competing deadlines
