The Marketing Coordinator is a new position on the ISTH Marketing and Membership team and will be a critical role that assists with marketing and communications, including daily management of the ISTH social media platforms and support to the global World Thrombosis Day campaign. The Society currently serves 5,000 members in 94 countries and this position also supports ISTH publications marketing including, the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (JTH) and Research and Practice in Thrombosis and Haemostasis (RPTH). The Marketing Coordinator is a key member of our team, working closely with team members to implement the marketing and communications plan for the Society. With strong project management, communication and organizational skills, the position requires relentless attention to detail, and solid ability to build strong relationships. The role requires an individual who thrives in an energetic and highly motivated team and multicultural environment.
The successful candidate will have at least two to four years of professional experience in a marketing or communications position. They will possess strong communication skills, with excellent written skills, and will be comfortable serving as a public speaker. This talented professional will have strong attention to detail, and is excited to travel at least four to five times a year to represent the Society.A background in marketing, communications, or journalism is highly desired and ideally the candidate has some graphic design skills and command of two or more languages. In addition, the candidate has the ability to quickly build productive working relationships within ISTH staff as well as ISTH leadership, members, and partners.
