Contributes to the execution of sales and profitability targets established by the SMU by developing the communication plan and supporting allocated countries with the implementation of the market communication plan and marketing materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes marketing promotion plans for new product launches (non-PR related aspects) including sales tools.
  • Conceptualizes and executes Marketing campaings (inc,.agency management)
  • Manages brand positioning and brand architecture within guidelines. Consistent look & feel, tone of voice, graphic design, logos e.g. for International, Interpon, Sikkens, Interchar, Zweihorn, Awlgrip, Nautica, etc.
  • Manages brand activation including product and brand related advertising, promotions and sponsorship
  • Develops direct Marketing products like mailings, newsletters and brochures.
  • In coordination with outside vendors organizes sales promotion events e.g. trade shows, customer gifts, point of sales materials and training programmes.
  • Maintains and promotes consistent use of proper house style and guards brand image and appearance.
  • Manages SMU and country content for lead generation through websites, social media, apps and stores.
  • Following segment plans, agrees and cascades the information on the SMU standard for the product and service related market communication package and sets up, implements and monitors the effectiveness.
  • Coordinates the timely delivery of the translated product-related information / marketing material to the key customers in the SMU.
  • Develops, implements and maintains the E-catalogue and databases within the SMU.
  • Investigates the potential savings, added value and implications from standardizing the market communication tools within the SMU.
  • Requests and negotiates tenders from external market communications agencies for development and production of marketing and external market communication materials.
  • Be familiar with all applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct/HSE standards and acts in compliance with all regulations.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Acts as an ambassador and encouraging talent processes and engagement.
  • Ensures a job profile is in place, sets objectives for team members, reviews development and provides clear, open and constructive feedback on performance combined with the appropriate actions.
  • Strengthens the talent pipeline by developing talent and regularly assesses and discusses talent and internal movement. Continuously monitors and evaluates retention risk.
  • Stimulates, manages and follows through on employee engagement and builds on the workforce to reflect the societies and markets in which we do business (D&I).
  • Creates an open environment in the team where all people can perform at their best and stimulates the development of others and ensures an engaged finance team.
  • Ensures reporting line is fully informed and acts in line with HSE and Compliance regulations.
  • Manages and plans relevant (departmental) budget and proactively manages the costs.
  • Reports on progress on a continuous base.
