Position Purpose:

The Marketing Assistant is the lynchpin of the Financial & Risk Management Solutions (FRMS) marketing organization, responsible for supporting the VP, Marketing and the FRMS Marketing team with administrative and operational support.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage logistics for quarterly marketing meetings, kickoffs, All Hands and other internal meetings 
  • Prepare monthly marketing operations reports and dashboards 
  • Manage the content and production of the monthly marketing newsletter 
  • Assist with internal communications programs 
  • Work with Digital Marketing Manager – Web to maintain FRMS marketing SharePoint and FRMS intranet presence 
  • Analyze surveys, questionnaires and other data 
  • Write reports 
  • Assist with market research 
  • Help to maintain and manage the customer and prospect databases ensuring information is accurate and up to date 
  • Assist in creating promotional materials, including brochures, blogs, marketing copy, etc. 
  • Manage supplier relationships and invoicing 
  • Work under the direction of VP, Marketing on special projects to help achieve FRMS marketing goals and objectives 
  • Coordinate meetings, assist with travel and expenses and perform other administrative duties as directed by the VP, Marketing

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or a Related Field

Job Related:

  • Minimum 2 years marketing experience 
  • Experience working within a global matrix software organization would be advantageous

Additional Skills/Knowledge:

  • Superb organizational skills 
  • Outstanding Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Some experience with salesforce.com and marketing automation systems for lead management / reporting 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
