Kleinschmidt has an immediate opening for a full-time Marketing and Communications Manager in our Lexington, South Carolina, office (our Strasburg, Pennsylvania office would be considered).

The Marketing and Communications Manager will be a strategic thinker and be on the cutting edge of modern marketing techniques for professional services firms. You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and be a member of the Strategic Growth Group working with our BD Coordinator, Proposal Manager, and Proposal Coordinator whose strategic purpose is to develop a sustainable culture of growth at Kleinschmidt.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead formulation of marketing communication strategies and execution of tactics 
  • Manage website redevelopment and ongoing maintenance 
  • Assist professional staff with development of content marketing for specific markets or services and leverage across various channels to help create visible experts in the industry 
  • Develop and implement digital communication strategies, including video, web and social media, applying analytical tool(s) to measure effectiveness. 
  • Create and maintain marketing collateral materials for business development support including: project data sheets, client references, staff resumes, qualification packages and service profile sheets 
  • Manage marketing and logistics efforts associated with industry trade shows and conferences


  • 10-15 years of experience in the A/E/C industry with SMPS designation as a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) preferred. 
  • Experience developing digital communications strategies and execution of tactics 
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proven experience collaborating with senior staff and developing marketing plans 
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Photoshop software, experience with Deltek Vision preferred 
  • Must have a creative eye and the ability to efficiently generate graphics 
  • Must possess excellent leadership and organizational skills 
  • Must possess permanent authorization to work in the United States
