Marketing & Communication Manager

The Marketing & Communication Manager is a Key driver in the development and implementation of the company's marketing communications programs. The incumbent will develop and execute plans for the design, writing and production of marketing communications materials for multimedia electronic and print distribution, including brochures, case histories, white papers, website content.


  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to conceptualize, develop and implement various promotional campaigns to increase customer acquisition and retention 
  • Initiate both creative and strategy sessions with internal and outside agencies to develop lead generation and nurturing campaigns 
  • Assist with the planning and execution of customer and internal company events (conferences, exhibits, events) 
  • Balance multiple projects, working as a team or independently to meet set deadlines 
  • Keep up-to-date with best practices and standards in the Health IT industry 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize, develop and implement various promotional campaigns to increase customer acquisition and retention 
  • Create functional requirements and budget for marketing campaigns and other marketing activities 
  • Oversee execution of email marketing campaigns that promote products and services, advertise promotions/activities and highlight company news 
  • Leverage CRM system (Sugar) capabilities to create effective and efficient promotional and nurturing campaigns 
  • Grow audience and increase engagement across social media channels by developing a long term strategy and collaborating with the marketing team to generate content ideas 
  • Review and edit marketing content to ensure tone and style across all channels is consistent in brand, style and messaging, and follows SEO best practices 
  • Coordinate paid and non-paid distribution programs (such as industry media channels, industry editors and reporters, social media) to achieve maximum presence of Agfa HealthCare messaging to our identified markets 
  • Track and report metrics, formulate recommendations to improve ROI metrics, formulate recommendations to improve ROI


  • Excellent project management skills, a critical eye for literacy (and graphic design a plus), effective communication with colleagues from all levels, partners, clients, and vendors 
  • Proven, consistently quality writing 
  • Ability to organize information 
  • Excellent communications skills 
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fluid and team environment required 
  • Familiarity with IT solutions or healthcare a plus 
  • Minimum of 8 + years of marketing communications experience and progressive responsibility 
  • Traveling required: up to 30%
