Franklin Street seeks a creative position to assist the company’s marketing and communications department. The selected candidate will serve as the Graphic Design Coordinator and lead a team of professionals; focusing on the department’s development through enhancing the profile and stature of Franklin Street’s brand, creating strategies to support different lines of business and each employee, and leading the public relations day-to-day operations. This position oversees Franklin Street’s creative efforts for real estate, insurance, capital, property management and valuation advisory divisions. The position, based in Tampa, Florida, will provide creative and brand leadership across the entire geographic scope of Franklin Street’s operations, and will report directly to the Marketing Manager.

Job Description:

  • Work as a member of the Franklin Street team to establish strong partnerships and buy-in with key internal stakeholders.
  • Become and stay informed about market trends, pending new business wins, and closed transactions.
  • Develop and implement effective and creative strategies for each business line and geographic market to promote Franklin Street’s market position and growth priorities.
  • Effectively extend content through traditional and new, digital media and into new business channels to support business objectives.
  • Ensure that creative efforts are integrated with and leveraging broader marketing and communication strategies.
  • Ensure all creative strategies and messages protect the firm’s reputation and are consistent with Franklin Street’s branding initiatives, marketing, communications, and style guide policy.
  • Uphold corporate practices consistently across the markets and with external vendors.
  • Create partnerships with other creative professionals throughout the community to leverage ideas and creativity.
  • Maintain a network of local and national printers and vendors to assist with Franklin Street-hired projects
  • Author and lead the layout and design of materials and deliverables for all property marketing.
  • Maintain organized files to adhere to file structure nomenclature, archive files for later use.
  • Manage photography edits, corrections and resolution, leads internal proofs as necessary
  • Pre-presses projects and organizes files for print production.
  • Attends press checks when appropriate, has a solid understanding of the printing process, finishing techniques, paper quality trends/knowledge and can review proofs.
  • Serve as a Brand Manager for the entire firm across all offices.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Minimum of 2 years of industry-related experience in creative or graphic design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or similar concentration.
  • Experience producing strong written work product.
  • Experience developing creative media strategies, pitching these to news or related industry media, and successfully securing coverage of the same across both traditional and newer, digital marketing channels.
  • Comfortable presenting the brand in a group setting with the use and knowledge of multimedia.
  • Demonstrated success managing project budgets and cost estimates.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. 
  • Basic management, editing and writing skills required.
  • Ability to organize use of time on deadline-driven efforts, exercise sound judgment and work in a self-directed manner.
  • Demonstrated success working with printers and other creative vendors.
  • Experience in creative collaboration as a member of a creative team is a plus.

Candidates will be required to provide creative credentials – samples of three best pieces of work as well as active contacts in traditional and digital channels.
