Position Details

Foundation Communications Specialist
Central and Northeast Florida
Orlando, FL

The Communications Specialist is an integral member of the Foundation communications team. At the direction of the Digital Media and Philanthropy Manager, he/she works with appropriate Foundation team members to implement day-to-day messaging development, graphic and web design needs, communication measurement and tracking activities. Assist Digital Media and Philanthropy Manager with planning and execution of donor-specific communication activities.


  • Associate's degree. High School Diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of directly related work experience may also substitute for the Associate's degree (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section).


  • Two (2) years of related marketing/communications and writing experience.
  • Proficiency with content management systems, website administration/management, website design and website programming required.
  • Demonstrated skills in graphic and web design, to include experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver).
