Events, Marketing and Engagement Manager

The Florida Chamber Foundation, a nonpartisan statewide think-tank led by Florida’s top business thinkers, is seeking an Events, Marketing and Engagement Manager. This position will oversee marketing, management and impact of the Chamber Foundation's summits and events. Ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and execute integrated marketing plans and engagement strategies for members and partners, know how to run and leverage events, and begin each day looking for opportunities on how to strategically engage key audiences throughout the year. The Events, Marketing and Engagement Manager will take the lead on executing and identifying engagement opportunities with key stakeholders - Chamber Foundation Trustees, volunteers, statewide partners and more. This includes developing plans designed to connect and share information with key constituencies using Chamber Foundation research, activities, events and communication tools. This position works directly with the Director of Communications and is tasked with planning and executing all Chamber Foundation events. This includes leveraging the events as opportunities to engage key constituencies before and during events. The Marketing and Engagement Manager will also continue outreach and engagement post-event to maintain relationships.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Developing event agendas,
  • Identifying appropriate speakers,
  • Assisting in the development of a marketing plan for print materials, websites and social media channels,
  • Developing and fostering relationships with vendors and partners, 
  • Ensuring all event collateral materials are consistent with the Foundation’s brand; manage and oversee event budgets, and
  • Creating, distributing and evaluating post-event surveys.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, event planning, or relevant expertise in integrated marketing and communications,
  • Experience in writing and creating marketing pieces consistent with set standards and brand,
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills,
  • Experience in event planning and budgeting, and
  • The ability to cross communicate with different departments and department heads.
