Since 1979, Community Hospice has been the Compassionate Guide SM for advanced illness management in Northeast Florida, helping people live better with a chronic condition. Community Hospice is the state’s only hospice provider, among the top 2 percent nationally, to earn Hospice Honors Elite Status two years in a row, a designation based on family evaluations.

In addition to providing comprehensive, high-quality hospice care, the organization offers several programs that help improve quality of life through relief of suffering in our community, such as Community PedsCare®, a nationally recognized pediatric palliative and hospice program for children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions; Community Palliative Consultants, a consultative service for people with serious and complex illnesses that helps them make important health care decisions; and Community Care Choices, a CMS research model to help people with advanced illness find greater access to comfort care and support.

The Community Hospice Neviaser Educational Institute provides education and other resources for health care professionals and the community about dealing with serious illnesses and their impact. Position Details

Digital Marketing/Communications Manager
Central and Northeast Florida
Jacksonville, FL

Under the leadership of the Director of Marketing | Communications, the Digital Marketing | Communications Manager is responsible for the strategy and execution of digital marketing and communications for all Community Hospice of Northeast Florida entities. This includes, but is not limited to websites, intranet and social media outreach, as well as digital and mobile efforts.


  • Google Certification preferred; completion of other certification programs considered. 
  • Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism, and five or more years in a digital marketing environment. 
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point, and demonstrated experience managing an enterprise website, social media networks, and hands-on working knowledge of content management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital strategy development and execution, including programmatic, social media, and display advertising campaigns, SEO/SEM, and database marketing.
