Summary:

Boxy Charm is looking for a Creative Manager who will initiate, manage and execute all creative and copy development by leveraging internal and external partners. This will include managing internal and external designers, copywriters and proofreaders. This role will be responsible for finding efficiencies in design, structural, photography and asset management. You will own the delivery of many assets across multiple communication channels including social, email and web. The Creative Manager will also own the execution of all digital merchandising and the management of production of physical merchandising assets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with internal partners including marketing, technology, social media to define and deliver content. 
  • Production and management of product content including copy, photography, and video. 
  • Organize, supervise and execute projects from concept through delivery. 
  • Partnering with design and product management to develop the schedules to plan, coordinate and execute design and production initiatives 
  • Plan and execute photo shoots including booking, pre-production meetings, onsite producer, and routing for approvals. 
  • Initiate and manage the production design and copy development for all channels. 
  • Manage all required design and copy resources including planning and budgeting. 
  • Execute all digital merchandising for all channels and partners. 
  • Setting up of detail pages with existing templates. 
  • Diving into site performance to optimize and improve detail page template. 
  • Recommend additional merchandising needs for the business.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in graphic/visual design 
  • Minimum 8 years of content creation experience; 
  • 5 years leading teams 
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier and InDesign 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities
