Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop the change vision and change management strategy and plan, in partnership with senior leadership, PMO, work stream leads and change management support partner 
  • Ensure the appropriate change leadership is in place and that leaders at all levels can articulate the vision of the program, and are active and committed in supporting the changes 
  • Provide direction for the change management work stream activities that align with the overall program vision, including scope, schedule, activities, resources and budget 
  • Escalate and help manage resolution of change management related challenges, issues, dependencies, risks, etc. 
  • Obtain appropriate reviews and approvals for change management deliverables 
  • Provide ongoing assessment of the effectiveness of the various change program activities, and recommend plan adjustments where necessary

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or similar 
  • Minimum of 5 years of Communications or Public Relations experience developing and implementing communications plans and programs

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process 
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools 
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as evidenced by past experience and writing samples. 
  • Strong verbal communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills 
  • Ability to identify, assess, understand and make appropriate recommendations to meet employee communication needs 
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously 
  • Excellent active listening skills 
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences 
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal 
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization 
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges 
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts 
  • Change management certification or designation desired 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or similar
  • Minimum of 5 years of Communications or Public Relations
