Communications Manager I (Multimedia focus)

This role will be a vital member of Global Procurement’s Process and Performance Support team; specifically aligned to supporting learning strategy and development. We are looking for an experienced instructional/ multimedia/creative designer and developer to join the Learning Strategy and Development team to help us substantially enhance the impact of our offering with high quality and effective multimedia and graphic solutions. 

The ideal candidate will be able deliver professional quality solutions with rapid speed to market in a dynamic and extremely fast-paced environment. The employee in this role will be responsible for:

  • Support/Lead instructional and technical design of learning and user support resources 
  • Designer and creator of multimedia, graphics and illustration elements for use in learning, user support resources and communications 
  • Lead/support course delivery, including: participant communications, catalogs, session materials, speaker preparation, session technical support, hosting/facilitating, issue resolution 
  • Learning Administration support, including: work pipeline mgmt, training calendars, course logistics and setup, enrollment mgmt, learner feedback/surveys, reporting/analytics) 
  • Technical writing/editing for assigned content 

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree required – (preferred learning, graphics design, communications, marketing, public relations or related field) 
  • 5+ years of experience in learning development and design, specifically e-Learning, virtual/distance learning (course examples will be requested) 
  • 5+ years of experience in Video/Multimedia development (work portfolio will be requested) 
  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design and illustration/infographics (work portfolio will be requested) 
  • Proven expertise in developing executive level presentations (work portfolio will be requested) 
  • Relationship Management, including the ability to interact, communicate and press for key information from subject matter experts at all levels in the organization 
  • Project management skills, experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously, strong prioritization and time management skills 
  • Experience supporting a multi-faceted learning program

Required Technical Skills:

  • Expert Microsoft PowerPoint and Word skills; proficiency with other MS Office tools 
  • Interactive, multimedia development tools (e.g., Captivate, Camtasia, Flash. SnagIt) 
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Articulate) 
  • BAC content/media/sharing platforms (Flagscape, Discovery, Snapshots, Sharepoint, WebEx)

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and methods 
  • Experience with Learning Management systems and reporting
