We are actively seeking a Marketing Director to join our firm as a dedicated full-time employee. Our goal is 100% client satisfaction through a relentless focus on the client’s objectives. This person will be responsible for driving brand & marketing strategies to meet short & long-term business goals for our client specific brands, their customers and consumers. This position will partner cross-functionally with Insights, Product Management, Design, Sales, Category, Innovation, R&D, and Finance to deliver against the client’s brand visions. Their team is passionate about creating value in the market for their brands and is focused on transformative solutions for the future.

Successful candidates should possess strong leadership with a broad brand marketing background, work comfortably in a fast paced, roll up your sleeves environment. The Marketing Director should have a passion for tackling new challenges, exploring innovations, new technologies, developing trends and constantly striving for better results that drive the business.

Responsibilities:

Strategic brand oversight that maximizes brand equity, long-term value creation and profitable growth

Proactively manage distinct brand position to drive long term value across complex Business to Consumer (B2C) & Business to Business (B2B) landscape

Cross-functional oversight to ensure success against business goals and objectives

Integrated marketing plan oversight that build and expand the reach and relevance of new and existing programs

Manage Advertising & Promotion (A&P) investment with targeted marketing plans that deliver maximum ROI

Define, develop and implement learning plans, brand building initiatives, and portfolio expansion efforts

  • Understand market, segments and competitive landscape to inform business & marketing plans
  • Identify and apply in depth insights to address unmet needs and formulate growth plans
  • Drive brand innovation strategies and long-term pipeline vision

Represent the brand with internal and external stakeholders & ensure compliance with company regulations

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required; MBA preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management 
  • Business to consumer (B2C) and business to business (B2B) experience is a MUST 
  • Experience managing a portion of a brand portfolio, including the commercialization of new products 
  • A&P budget management experience 
  • Leadership experience with direct reports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with agencies 
  • Consumer packaged goods experience 
  • Involvement in advertising and promotional planning and budgeting 
  • Self-starter 
  • Detail-oriented 
  • Excellent communications skills
