The Admissions Communications Specialist is responsible for communications delivered to applicants and inquiries, advertising and administrative support for various Admissions activities at the Georgia and South Georgia Campus.

The Communications Specialist will work as a member of the professional admissions staff for the Georgia Campus and coordinate activities with the Communications Specialist from the Philadelphia Campus to enhance our identity and brand and to engage with our inquiry and applicant pools. The Admissions Communications Specialist utilizes the all software and systems, primarily the CRM (TDB) and student information system (Ellucian BANNER) to support recruitment efforts. This role is responsible for the implementation of communications to meet the designed communication strategy. The Admissions Communications Specialist will also serve as a member of the Admission Operations team, assisting with data management, events, travel materials and other duties as assigned at Georgia and South Georgia Campus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

1. Communications

  • Write, develop and maintain Admissions communications plan to inquiries and applicants including updates, changes and new content through CRM platform. 
  • Collaborate with Admissions staff, program directors and department faculty to ensure the accuracy of program-specific communications to inquiries and applicants at Suwanee and South Georgia. 
  • Support new programs and/or campuses by creating content relevant to the market and identify potential prospects for content delivery at Suwanee and South Georgia. 
  • Create and monitor registrations for Admissions events in CRM platform and seeking prospects from various organizations to boost registrations at Suwanee and South Georgia. 
  • Write, develop and send email blast correspondence on behalf of the Office of Admissions as needed. 
  • Collaborate with Marketing Department regarding the creating and editing of advertising in coordination with recruitment travel. 
  • Collaborate with Marketing Department in the editing of admissions-specific content on pcom.edu. 
  • Provide robust report data to Director of Admissions to monitor effectiveness of email campaigns for Suwanee and South Georgia.

2. Administrative support

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends. Travel may be required.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience:

  • Three to five years of experience in a comparable position is preferred. 
  • Excellent computer skills, including using tools such as Microsoft Office, Google applications and CRMs is preferred. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as detail-oriented, acute accuracy, and proven organizational skills. 
  • Experience and comfort working with diverse communities and interacting with a variety of constituencies, including staff, applicants, inquiries, students, alumni, volunteers, guests, etc. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Valid driver’s license in the State of Georgia and a good driving record with no restrictions.
