Summary

We could say that we are looking for a ‘positive, dependable innovator to work collaboratively with our in-house marketing team to ensure that all of the firm’s marketing needs are met’, but we think that’s pretty arbitrary (not to mention assumed). We have a small internal marketing team thatstrives to be uniquely creative in all aspects of our practice,and we are constantly raising our graphic and production standards. Don’t believe us? You should have seen our old website – unfortunately, it was too ugly for the internet so it imploded and died. If you don’t like our current website, you’re not hurting our feelings – just be prepared to tell us how to make it better.

Our marketing team is a tight-knit group in a sense that we are transparent, honest communicators who push each other to constantly challenge the status quo (not tight-knit like Mean Girls – we don’t wear army pants and flip flops…at least not to work). We don’t consider ourselves ‘edgy,’ but we like to be different. If that all sounds good so far, we want you to know we’re looking for a professional who is striving to grow, and is ready to dive in with gusto. Organization, multi-tasking and prioritization skills are a must in our world of deadlines, content marketing management, campaign strategy…the list could truly go on and on, but we hope that wearing these multiple hats can help you create a path that you’re interested in and that plays to your skill set for your future. Also, we don’t want to ask you to go sky diving, but we would hope that you possess a willingness to jump into other roles in order to help the firm succeed.

And please, don’t freak out under pressure – it only makes others freak out under pressure, so keep your cool. We’re a Mac-based firm in the architecture industry, which is neat. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, withat least one year of experience either freelancing or working in an office. Please make sure your references are reputable, respectable and up-to-date – we’d rather not talk to your mother. Also, you must be legally authorized to work in the United States (insert any other fine print here that you wouldn’t read anyways).

Description

One of your main responsibilities will beputting together proposals that help us win work. Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in trade show/conference/career fair material production and strategy 
  • Creating credential/introduction booklets for client visits 
  • Assisting the studio in project-related graphics 
  • Assisting in social media/content marketing efforts 
  • Managing our firm brand 
  • Creating marketing campaign materials 
  • Organizing and record-keeping of marketing deliverables and mass amounts of firm & project data
Qualifications

Skills that are necessary:

Fluency in the following programs:

  • InDesign 
  • Photoshop 
  • Illustrator 
  • Acrobat 
  • Microsoft Word 
  • Microsoft Excel 
  • Microsoft Powerpoint

A familiarity with Deltek Vision Database is not required, but encouraged (and greatly appreciated)
