Job description:

This position will have within his/her scope the marketing responsibility for the new entity we will establish within North America. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong customer focus. Responsible for the overall management and development of the marketing & communications process with the aim of supporting and continuously improving our distribution channels, rental partners and end users.

Description

Mission:

Your Mission as Marketing & Communications Manager includes the following:

  • Positively promote the name, image and reputation of Dynapac within our customer base as well as internally with our employees and third party stakeholders in conformity with established guidelines 
  • Develop and manage a space advertising budget (online and in print) and press release schedule, manage a PR and advertising agency to negotiate advertising space, design ads, develop articles and editorials for placement in trade magazines and monitor coverage on our behalf 
  • Provide a system to supply sales literature from the represented divisions, including the localization of literature and creation of new brochures, as required; 
  • Manage and maintain marketing strategy within budgetary targets 
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Development plan for North America 
  • Report and Maintain market share statistics 
  • Manage our listings in buyer’s guides, web sites and social media 
  • Manage our memberships in trade associations in such a way that we achieve maximum benefit from our participation; 
  • Manage the procurement and distribution of promotional items and set giveaway budgets for customer-facing employees 
  • Distribute sales leads resulting from communications activities 
  • Participate in local business activities and business decision making and actively contribute in developing the business in accordance with central and local strategies and targets. 
  • Ensure that Group processes are implemented and followed.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced person with a solid background in marketing, sales, multi-channel distribution, the ideal candidate should have experience within compaction and paving business.

  • Good knowledge of customer center activities 
  • Ability to work within a fast paced environment as a strong and influential team member

Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent employment history within field.

Additional requirements:

  • The successful candidate should be capable of working independently with good analytical and communication skills. 
  • The candidate should also have good leadership and team-building skills and possess the ability to find solutions to challenging projects. 
  • In addition, the candidate should be capable of easily and fluidly relating to the local and global management team in order to best support the needs of the business. 
  • Have a solid sales and distribution knowledge within North American market. 
  • The capacity to develop a solid understanding of our products, the market and sales process. 
  • Fluent in English, Spanish or French would be an asset.
