Summary 
Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and prepare Executive level presentations, detailed graphics, conceptual and camera ready artwork and visual aids for various departmental projects 
  • Prepares photographic images to create digital files for use in printed publications or to be published on-line 
  • Prepares slide presentations to correspond with speeches or discussions 
  • Integrate and coordinate graphic artwork preparation with local printers to ensure proper technical job quality processes and delivery by deadlines 
  • Collaborate across departments to develop and implement a communications plan that continues to build on FECR’s brand equity 
  • Produce product that includes traditional media such as advertising, print and brochure ware, as well as electronic media such as Web, App and Social 
  • Make recommendations on venue, style, artistic considerations and consumption patterns to insure that FEC communications are crisp and reach appropriate audience
  • Plan development for each media outlet 
  • Creates new art illustrations using digital drawing skills 
  • Collaborative content development with internal and external parties 
  • Execution in the form of press releases, advertisements, sales collateral, app, web and social media content and distribution 
  • Leads team updating the FECR webpage and the FECR App 
  • Manages PR Newswire, Social Media and Ad budgets as well as supports Commercial and internal events with graphics, booth set up and backdrop
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Graphic Design or a relevant field 
  • Expert knowledge of design applications that are considered standard in the industry (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, PowerPoint) 
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or graphic design

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

  • Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Graphic Design or a relevant field 
  • 3 – 5 years of experience working for an advertisement agency

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Must be a confident communicator and presenter 
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally 
  • Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills 
  • Superior project management and time management skills 
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional outlook 
  • Strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, ability to concentrate is critical as is time management skills 
  • Ability to work in a team environment, but also be able to work independently 
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 25% travel required 
  • May be required to be available after normal business hours 
  • The applicant selected for this position will be required to successfully complete a background check and drug test; passing results must be received prior to start date in new position
