Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required and preferred in advertising, creative design, journalism, marketing, photography, or a related field.
Minimum of three years professional experience in graphic design, marketing, social media management, public relations or related field.
Design experiences with skills in graphic design, animation and video programs.
Professional experience writing using Associated Press style guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to build a multimedia and digital campaign from scratch.
Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Social media tools (WordPress, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and others).
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Innovative design and marketing practices.
Excellent written communications skills utilizing AP style.
Excellent verbal communications skills.
Ability to meet deadlines with special attention to details.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Ability to train others in communications/digital online strategies.
Ability to work well with a diverse group of staff members, volunteers and community leaders.
English/ Spanish bilingual preferred but not required.
